The Canivet cPL Quanti-Test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the quantitative detection of the canine pancreas-specific lipase (cPL) in dog's serum or plasma, as an auxiliary examination of pancreatitis.

Principle
The Canivet cPL Quanti-Test is based on sandwich method lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test device has a testing window for the observation of assay running and result reading. The testing window has an invisible T (test) zone and a C (control) zone before running the assay.
When the treated specimen was applied into the specimen hole on the device, the liquid will laterally flow through the surface of the test strip and react with the pre-coated cPL monoclonal antibodies. If the concentration of the canine pancreas-specific lipase (cPL) is exceeding 200 μg/L, a visible T line will appear and the results of canine pancreas-specific lipase (cPL) concentration could be obtained by the RDT-Calculator. The C line should always appear after the specimen is applied, which indicates a valid result. By this means, the device can accurately indicate the presence of cPL antigen in the specimen.

Test Procedure

1. Turn on the FIC-Q100N Dry Immunoassay Analyzer.
2. Use the analyzer's scanner to scan the QR code on the inner label of the box or the label of bag to import the calibration curve into the analyzer.
3. Remove the test card from the foil pouch.
4. Position the front of the card facing up, ensuring that the sample well is oriented towards the outside of the analyzer's test card slot.
5. Insert the card into the test card slot of the analyzer.
6. Use a pipette to add 100 μL of the treated sample into the sample well.
7. Push the test card to the farthest end of the test card slot.
8. Tap [STANDARD TEST] on the screen. Result will be displayed in 10 minutes.
