Short Introduction
The Canivet CAV-CPV-CDV Ab Combo Test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the semi-quantitative detection of CAV-CPV-CDV Antibody (CAV-CPV-CDV Ab) in dog's serum, or plasma


Principle
The Canivet CAV-CPV-CDV Ab Combo Test is based on sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test card has a testing window for the observation of assay running and result reading. The testing window has an invisible T (test) zone and a C (control) zone before running the assay. When the treated sample was applied into the sample hole on the device, the liquid will laterally flow through the surface of the test strip and react with the pre-coated CAV-CPV-CDV recombinant antigens. If there are CAV-CPV-CDV antibodies in the specimen, a visible T line will appear. The C line should always appear after a sample is applied, which indicates a valid result. By this means, the device can indicate the presence of CAV-CPV-CDV antibodies in the specimen.


Test Procedure

-Allow all materials, including specimen and test device, recover to 15-25ºC before running the assay.

-Take out the test device from the foil pouch and place it horizontally.

-Drop 1 drops (approx. 40μL) of the serum or plasma specimen into the sample hole "S" of the test device then drop two drops (approx. 80μL) of buffer.

-Interpret the result in 10 minutes. Result after 15 minutes is considered as invalid.

-The sequence of the T line is shown in the figure.

Interpretation Of Result
The presence of "C" line indicates a valid result. Read the result by comparing the color intensity of the "T" line with the standard color reference scale (from "G1" to "G6").
The titers of CAV-CPV-CDV antibodies are corresponding with the color intensity grades.

G1 < 1:20	G2 = 1:20	G3 = 1:40
G4 = 1:80	G5 = 1:160	G6 > 1:320

• Positive (+): The presence of both "C" line and zone "T" line. T line at G3 is considered as standard positive. T line < G3, is weak positive and indicates low CAV-CPV-CDV antibody level. T line around G4-G5, is strong positive. T line > G6, is very strong positive, indicates a contact with virus recently or in infection.
• Negative (-): Clear C line appears. No T line, or T line is weaker than G1. It indicates very low CAV-CPV-CDV antibody titer. Failed immunization may happen.   

        Invalid: No colored line appears in C zone

1. Press and hold the white start button for 2 ~ 3 seconds to start the machine.
2. Put the IC card into the card reading area.
