Marek's Disease Antigen Rapid Test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic method that qualitatively detects Marek's disease virus antigen (MDV Ag) from poultry serum, plasma or diseased tissue.

- Collect bird serum or plasma into centrifugal tube. Make sure the specimen is clean and transparent. Transfer 3 drops (about 100μL) of the sample to the determination buffer tube and mix thoroughly. Mixtures are used in the determination.
-If the specimen is diseased tissue, part of the tissue is collected into the assay buffer. Agitate and crush the tissue so that it is mixed in the determination buffer as much as possible. A mixture of supernatant was used in the determination.
-Remove test device from aluminum foil bag and place horizontally.
-Draw the treated sample extract from the determination buffer tube and place 3 drops into the sample well "S" of the test unit.
-Explain the results in 5-10 minutes. Results after 10 minutes were considered invalid.
The kit can be stored at room temperature (2-30°C). The test kit is stable through the expiration date (18 months) marked on the package label. DO NOT FREEZE. Do not store the test kit in direct sunlight.
