Principle

Principle

The canine CPV-CCV Ag combination test is based on sandwich-type lateral flow immunochromatography analysis. The test card has two test windows for observing test runs and result readings. The test window has invisible T (test) and C (control) areas before running the measurement. When the treated sample is applied to the sample hole on the device, the liquid flows horizontally across the surface of the test strip and reacts with the pre-coated monoclonal antibody. If there are CPV or CCV antigens in the specimen, a visible T-line appears. In this way, the device can accurately indicate the presence of small viral antigens or cors antigens in the sample.

Test Procedures

TEST PROCEDURE

• - Use a cotton swab to collect the dog's eye, nose, or anal secretions and moisten the swab completely.
• - Insert the cotton swab into the detection buffer tube provided.Stir it to obtain effective sample extraction.
• - If serum or plasma specimens are used, use a drip collector to collect the specimens.Place the serum or plasma in a buffer tube.Reduced samples are extracted by sample.
• - Remove test card from aluminum foil bag and place horizontally.
• - Drag out the processed samples from the test buffer tube and then drop 3 drops into each sample hole S of the test card in turn.
• -- 5 to 10 minutes to explain the results.The result after 10 minutes was invalid.

INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS

• Positive (+): The presence of both "C" line and zone "T" line, no matter T line is clear or vague.
• Negative (-): Only clear C line appear. No T line.
• Invalid: No colored line appears in C zone. No matter if T line appears.
