The EAV Ab Test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of Equine Arteritis Virus Antibody (EAV Ab) in horse's serum, plasma or whole blood specimen.

Reagents & Materials

• 10 test pouches, with cards and desiccants
• 10 capillary droppers
• 1 bottle of assay buffer
• 1 package insert

Storage & Stability

The kit can be stored at room temperature (2-30°C). The test kit is stable through the expiration date (18 months) marked on the package label. DO NOT FREEZE. Do not store the test kit in direct sunlight.

Test Procedure

• Collect horse's fresh whole blood, and get the serum or plasma specimen for use. Immediately apply the testing once collected the specimen.
• Take out the test device from the foil pouch and place it horizontally.
• Use the capillary dropper to place 1 drop (approx.10μL) of the prepared specimen into each sample well "S" of the test card. Then drop 3 drops (approx. 90μL) of the assay buffer into each sample well. Start the timer.
• Interpret the result in 5-10 minutes. Result after 15 minutes is considered as invalid.
